A photo of Andy Feather and Michael Metcalfe working on the track near bridge 29 on Monday 22nd August, the occasion marks 20 years of volunteer work on the Wensleydale Railway. The first work party took place at Castle Bolton on the 17th August 1996 with 13 members. Andy lead the work supported by Michael and the other members. For Andy and Michael, twenty years and still going strong.

By 10th August the whole length (65.4m / 215ft) of the wooden platform at Scruton now has the decking complete and the rear fence in under construction. (10/08/2016)

By 16th August the fencing on the wooden platform extension at Scruton is complete. Steps will be provided at the end of the platform where the gate is positioned to allow access to the track. (16/08/2016)
