A further discovery of points working mechanism at Wensley - also removed from site and taken to Leeming Bar yard for re-use upon Wensleydale railway - at this location there was further points rail (switching rail) and points chairs - but they were too long to be transported by Landrover back to Leeming (04/03/2017)

Photograph showing the size of the 'sapling' Andy Chapman of the Infrastructure agreed to fell. (Andy Waite's suggested cutting it down would allow daylight to penetrate to the trackbed at this cutting . It took all 5 and a lot of effort to fell. Having promptly cut it down Andy Chapman then proceeded to cut it up - taking nearly 2 hours to clear away the line. Fortunately a yellow service was being run and the last train of the day had passed. (18/03/2017)
