This 1951 BSA C11 motorbike, is a 250cc four stroke single owned by WRA volunteer Alan Graham. Alan was just 15 when he found it in a poor state in an old barn near the closed Richmond railway in 1971 and paid £2 for it. Since then he has used it extensively (slowly as it's quite under-powered) and it's been part of his life. Alan says that whereas Guy Martin can lap the Isle of Man TT course in 19 minutes, it takes the BSA an hour and a half. He calls this picture the tortoise and the hare; no prizes for guessing which is which. (04/06/2019)
