Direct Works Team working for Neil Guest in laying the cable through the ducting from the 3 Phase Box in the SE corner of Leeming Bar car park right up to the East door of the Goods Shed, where it was then secured to the North wall adjacent to the Shop Carriage - very thin working area.
Twice the winch was insuffient to pull the cable through the chambers, and the PW Team were pressed (willingly) into action by manually pulling the cable through. (20/11/2019)Click here to see higher resolution photo

Newton Grange UWC (User Worked Crossing). With a mixture of old and new sleepers the deck base is been ballasted. This was an extremely muddy work site due to recent rain and it doesn't show the hard manual graft despite having the digger on site to get it into this position. (04/11/2019)

Newton Grange UWC (User Worked Crossing) - Of course no one has owned up to who caught it with a vehicle/trailer and ripped it off the post with severe damage. This gate is 14 foot wide....!!!!! With the use of a solid nearby post and the plough blade on the digger it was straightened enough for it to open/close till a new gate is sourced. (05/11/2019)
