Many hours of work have gone into restoring the mechanical and electrical systems of the coach alongside the bodywork and a refresh of the interior.

The Grade II listed Hertford East signal box. The Wensleydale Railway has been awarded a grant of £80,000 by The Railway Heritage Trust to restore and relocate the Grade II listed signal box at Leyburn station where it will control the recently installed passing loop.
This is a joint project between ourselves, The Railway Heritage Trust, Network Rail and Greater Anglia. (--/10/2021)
