During December the main focus of the railway was in running the Polar Express Experience. This was very successful
This month we have the following:-
1. Polar Express
2. Christmas Eve Services
3. The Leeming Bar Station Master’s Parlour decorated for Christmas
4. Mince Pie Special trains
5. Our promotional stand has been out at another event
6. The new Leeming Bar toilets are now in use
7. Progress on the restoration of the 0-6-0 steam locomotive
8. A Pacer Unit is undergoing repainting and other work in Leeming Bar shed
9. The Direct Works Team covering an open culvert at Leyburn
10. The Infrastructure Team trying out a new Impact Wrench which the 250 Club bought for them
11. Some repair work at Wensley crossing
12. The Vegetation Team at work

Yorkshire Water had a road closure at Wensley for a burst pipe just off to the left of the picture so the opportunity was taken to lift a dip out of the right hand rail whilst the road was closed. The Rail Road Vehicle is seen in the process of lifting out the centre deck panels. (02/12/2021)
