During August all our teams have been very busy. This month we have:
1. The chimney at Leeming Bar station house being lined and work in wash-yard
2. Repainting of the Level Crossing Keepers, accommodation at Finghall Lane station
3. The Direct Works Team putting in a wooden floor to the new office in the Maintenance shed
4. The Direct Works team have restored a wooden barrow for Leeming Bar station
5. Restoration of the 0-6-0 steam tank locomotive continues
6. Overhaul work on the ‘Bubblecar’ engines continues
7. Restoration of a Mk.1 buffet car is continuing
8. A Pacer unit is being repainted
9. The Vegetation Team at Work
10. Some re-ballasting by the Infrastructure team
11. Some NER copper nails that came out the Bedale Signal Box roof back in 2011 during its restoration have been found
12. Various photos along the line and other subjects

On Tue 30 Aug at long last work on the 4 wheeled platform trolley was completed. There had been problems with fitting the front axle and the braking mechanism, but now everything (less the painting which LBR as doing) was complete. (30/08/2022)

Some copper nails with N.E.R. on them have recently been found. They were originally recovered from Bedale Signal Box roof when it replaced by the Direct Works Team in 2011 (They held the slates in place). Here is a photo of one of them. (04/09/2022)
