During September all our teams have been very busy. This month we have:
1. Photos taken from Bedale Signal box.
2. Attractive new seats at Bedale station.
3. Tidying in Leeming Bar yard and the painting of the goods shed doors.
4. Restoration of a 0-6-0 steam tank loco is progressing.
5. Restoration of a covered van.
6. Restoration of a Mk1 buffet coach is progressing.
7. Painting of a Pacer unit is progressing.
8. Building work around the Leeming Bar station house yard and the toilet block roof, is now virtually complete.
9. Redecoration of a room at Finghall station under way.
10. Work by the Direct Works Team at , Fingall and Scruton.
11. Work by the Vegetation Team mainly at Constable Burton.
12. The Infrastructure Team replacing sleepers.

An 0-6-0 steam tank loco under restoration at Leeming Bar. Note that the plating and coal hatch between the cab and coal bunker is now complete and the rear of the coal bunker has been removed to allow resstoration/replacement of it. (27/09/2022)

The steps at Otterbeck pedestrian crossing (in Aiskew) have been repaired by the Direct Works Team. The broken timbers on the steps were in need of replacement as they had rotted; then the old gravel refilled behind. View looking north (06/09/2022)

A combined Leyburn and Bedale Infrastructure gangs renewing sleepers between Bridge 22 (traffic light bridge) and Spennithorne Station. The sleepers which are mainly 2nd hand ones selected from those removed at the Argill relay site earlier this year. The worksite is 2.5 miles from our access point at Peter Blacks UWC which is a slog on the way back uphill with multiple trolleys. (26/09/2022)
