During September lots of work has been going on on the railway, incuding both drainage work and track slewing beyond Leyburn in connection with Project Redmire:-
1. Our youngest qualified train crew.
2. Animals around the line.
3. The buffet seating area coach at Leeming Bar.
4. The Gin Experience Train.
5. A Pacer passing the new signal box at Constable Burton.
6. New staff facilities delivered for our maintenance staff at Leeming Bar.
7. A 117 car is being stripped for spares before being scrapped.
8. A container for storing oil etc. has been installed at Leeming Bar.
9. The Direct Works Team have prepared a base at Scruton ready for a container which is being moved there.
10. The Direct Works Team working on a drainage problem at Leeming Bar.
11. Restoration work is continuing on a Mk1 1st Class brake coach.
12. Restoration work is continuing on a Mk2 1st Class brake coach.
13. The Sentinel Locomotive’s control panels.
14. Restoration work is continuing on the 0-6-0 steam tank engine.
15. Restoration work is continuing on the Wickham Trolley.
16. Work being carried near Wensley in preparation of slewing the line away from a crumbing embankment.
17. Drainage work continues near bridges 28 and 29.
18. The Fencing Team working at Finghall and Redmire.
19. The Vegetation Team at work.
