Having cleared the undergrowth at the site of the North Pole last month, the vegetation team returned in October to begin levelling the base and building the set. Although the veg team have dismantled the set in the past, they had never before attempted to assemble it again. (02/10/2024)

Building the North Pole scenery. Note the "clothes horse type" wooden frames leaning against the container. There are scores of these to sort out (different shapes and sizes) to be bolted together in to cubes. Each cube to be allocated its correct location and a picture added on. (02/10/2024)

The North Pole nearing completion. The vegetation team are getting it all level and braced against wind. As well as bolting it together as opposed to using screws, it's been securely tethered to the steel containers behind, so in high wind the set's not going anywhere. (09/10/2024)
