During January lots of work has been going on on the railway by our Engineering Maintenance, Vegetation and Infrastructure teams. This month we have:
1. A photo shoot of our new loco 47714.
2. Scenes along the line.
3. Loco at Leeming Bar.
4. Redundant DMUs and a loco going off site.
5. Continuing work on the volunteers toilet and shower unit.
6. Pacers in the maintenance shed.
7. Continuing restoration work on a Mk.2 coach.
8. Work by the Infrastructure Team.
9. Work by the Direct Works Team.
10. Work by the Vegetation Team.

First working day of the New Year for the Leyburn Pway Team. The new ditch and cross drain west of Bridge 29 west of Leyburn had obviously been doing their job judging by the amount of debris which had been washed down. (20/01/2025)

Having turned their hand to assembling the North Pole scenery at Constable Burton, the vegetation team now did likewise to dismantle it on 22nd January. Heavy snow and bad weather earlier in the month had prevented them from putting the decorations away any sooner. (22/01/2025)
