Having got completely cheesed off with having to hump the information board and sandbags out and in every time the frames were removed from the stand, attached to plywood backing boards and mounted on the wall. The sandbags have been relocated to Leeming to hold down their A frame noticeboards during windy weather. (16/05/2025)

Contractors for Yorkshire Water had previously put cameras down the main Leyburn sewer which runs under the Railway just beyond Bridge 26 with the access manhole trackside.
Another team arrived to cut out ingrowing roots discovered by the previous survey and line the pipe. Here they are just about to remove the installation device which although it has a hole through to allow some water to pass causes quite a backup which takes quite a heave to pull against the backed up water and normal flow to get it out again.
The pipe is then inspected again with the camera, bottom left of the pic, (looks like something out of Robot Wars) to check the patch has installed correctly.
The pipe leading from the camera is not part of it but an air line used to inflate the installation device to push the patch onto the pipe wall. (30/05/2025)Click here to see higher resolution photo
