During August lots of things has been going on on the railway. On this page we have:
1. Pacers etc. on the line.
2. TV crews filming for a feature on young heritage train drivers.
3. A load of rails arriving at Leeming Bar from Eggborough Power Station.

6. The platform extension at Leeming Bar for Polar Express is completed.
7. More tidying of Leeming Bar yard.
8. Restoration of the bodywork of Mk.2 coach No. 9417is nearly completed.
9. Restoration of the bodywork of Mk.2 coach No.W5337 has started.
10. The Direct Works Team have been carrying out work at Leeming Bar.
11. The installation of a lever frame at Scruton in continuing.
12. The Vegetation team at work.
13. The Infrastructure team at work.
