Barry Wetherell's Photographs

October 2008

Shortly before he died, Barry Wetherell passed on to the railway many of his photographs that he had taken over the years. Here are a selection of his photos taken in October 2008. Of particular note is:
1. The Railtour which came onto our line up to Redmire on the 6th.
2. A Ruby Wedding special ran to Redmire and back on the 20th.
2. A very heavy (1350 Tons) army train on the 23rd.
3. A special to Springwell Lane and back for the group who are building a G5 loco at Darlington ran on the 31st.
