Replacement of Finghall Crossing
by the Infrastructure Group
During the week commencing 25th March 2019 the Level Crossing Deck at Finghall lane has been replaced by our combined Infrastructure teams.
The crossing decking was redone only about three and half years ago using railway sleepers. However due to the amount of heavy lorries and agricultural tractors and trailers, the surface has deteriorated badly. So the decision was taken to totally replace the crossing with modern level crossing surface units.
