Shows one section of track refitted and been levelled. The main problem here is water from the shawl floods over the embankment as well as water off the road bridge and from Wilkinson's crossing in U tubes arrives here all at once and the drains cannot cope. It still is a problem today but will flow away slowly. (26/01/2008)

Rescue arrives in the form of the works train.
After a long night in which an attempt to lift the front of the DMU clear of the boulder failed, a jack hammer was used to break up the boulder and it was eventually re railed in the early hours of the next day. The track team then changed a few sleepers plus minor repairs by about 03.30 am.
