Conversion of an old Mk1 coach
An old Mk 1 coach which has been languishing in the sidings at Leeming Bar for many years, following an abortive attempt at restoration, has now been recovered. It has now been converted into a 'Green Room' for the Polar Express actors for the 2023 season. In 2024 it is intended to be further upgraded and used as an extension to the station buffet coach and as a shop.
