This is first of what will probably be a sequence of photo galleries, documenting the progress of the rebuild of this industrial 0-6-0 Tank Steam Locomotive.
The loco spent all its working life at a power station in the Birmingham area.

The original manufacturer's photo of the loco (No.7537).
This locomotive was built in 1949 by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn and supplied new to work at Nechells Power Station which was owned by the British Electricity Authority. Ownership passed to the Central Electricity Generating Board (CEGB) in 1957.
The locomotive spent all of its working life at the Nechell site as Nechell No 3. (1949)
