37/040 with 23 rail wagons carrying 944 water pipes with fittings at Aiskew Level crossing. A similar train ran 5 days before and was unloaded between Wensley and the top of Preston bank. A 21Km water pipe line was to be installed between Leyburn and Bainbridge and half the pipes were delivered on these 2 train loads. The 2 train loads kept 30 fully laden wagon loads off the roads.
