Scruton Station - August 2003 (Part 2)

During Vegetation Clearance

Back in 2003, Scruton Station had been neglected for many years. It had become totally overgrown and hidden by trees, bushes and ivy to such an extent that many locals did not even realise that the station building still existed.

In August 2003, a group of local railway volunteers and locals decided to start clearing the vegetation from Scruton Station building to see what state the building was in, These photos were taken in and around the station building after much of the vegetation had been removed from the front to allow access inside, but before the rear of the station was cleared.
