Leeming Bar Signal Box
2008/9
In 2008 a brick base was built for the new signal box at Leeming Bar. Then in August 2008 a wooden framed signal box was lifted into position onto the brick base. It had its official opening on 2nd May 2009. The signal box was originally from North Wootton, near Kings Lynn, in Norfolk. It was rescued, restored and erected at Leeming Bar by the Direct Works Team with the help of a Heritage Lottery grant.
