Initial work at Leeming Bar
2000-2004
In 2000, the railway gained possession of the Leeming Bar site and the focus of attention moved to there from Aysgarth. Once train services started in 2004 and maintenance was required on the full length of the line, we moved on to various places/groups.
Thanks go to Michael Metcalfe who has provided these photographs. He has been a volunteer right from the very first WRA working party and is still an active volunteer on the railway.
The names of the people named in the photo captions are thought to be all correct, however if there are any errors or omissions please let me know.
