Scruton Station
Fitting of anti-slip strips to the wooden platform
In late April the Direct Works Team laid anti-slip strips on Scruton station wooden platform.
The Scruton station wooden platform had become very slippery which had resulted in some people slipping and falling. Because of that we have been unable to run trains to Scruton until this problem had been rectified. The work was completed just in time to run trains during the 2023 Model Railway show weekend on the May Bank Holiday
